The Plustek SmartOffice PS256 is an innovative scanner that is able to bring more benefits to the small business and organizations. The PS256 is a hi-resolution, duplex color scanner that offers convenience and perfect image quality. The Plustek SmartOffice PS256 is affordable and convenient Sheetfed Scanner, and is used as the foot print- ideal for Receptionist/Administrative Desk, and the offices which have the limited budgets on spending office facilities. The Plustek SmartOffice PS256 is also ideal for businesses that need to archive documents, scan in reports or implement a low cost document management system.

The Plustek SmartOffice PS256 software bundle allows users to automatically scan to searchable PDF. TWAIN driver that allows business to communicate with more document image management software solutions with the press of the single-touch function buttons. Single Touch Function Buttons permits users to easily set the customized functions for scanning documents by pressing and selecting one of nine programmed scan settings. Customization includes scan to searchable PDF, E-Mail, Copy, File. Providing a 25 page automatic document feeder and 600 dpi optical resolutions, the Plustek SmartOffice PS256 actually digitizes both sides of a document in a single pass in color. Scan business cards up to legal size documents and have them be converted to searchable PDF.
